This week, the Emission Capture Units (ECU) designed for Pan American Energy were tested in the workshop. The modules provided by Flargent allow the condensation of water present in the line of the existing TEG regeneration units and the burning of the recovered gas, reducing the environmental impact. 🌎

Each skid has:
◾ A partial air condenser
◾ A vertical two-phase separator
◾ A combustor

The status of the combustor pilots is monitored by a K-type thermocouple located at the upper end of the combustor. The ignition panel has a double pilot lockout according to standard.

The module has a 3-way valve to vent the gas to a safe area in case of emergency. It also has a control panel (with PLC and HMI) and power that commands and feeds all the instruments of the module, including the ignition of the engine, the aeros and the ignition of the combustor pilots.
