Flargent manufactures a line of cyclone desanders for the removal of sand and solids present in gases and two-phase fluids. These desanders retain up to 99% of solid particles of up to
100 microns in size.

Although their use is widespread as a wellhead element when fracking shale formations, they are also used downstream as scrubbers at the entry of gas treatment plants and in gas compression plants.

This technology uses the centrifugal force that is generated by the cyclone to force the larger particles to separate from the fluid stream.

The accumulator can be manually or automatically emptied,
which improves the overall safety of the operation.
