Flargent offers a range of skid mounted particulate filters and coalescers, complete with plumbing and instrumentation. These specialized systems not only ensure gas purity, but also prevent equipment damage and protect infrastructure. These specialized filters ensure the effective removal of solid particles and small liquid droplets present in the gas streams.
Protection of equipment and improvement in gas purity
Particulate filters are essential for removing solid particles that could damage mechanical equipment, cause buildup, or erode valves and pipes. In addition, they are used to filter water beneath solid beds, such as molecular sieves or activated carbon filters, preventing the entrainment of solid particles along with the treated gas.
On the other hand, coalescer filters are designed to remove small liquid droplets or aerosols in gas streams. This equipment is commonly used in plants where various elements such as water droplets, condensed hydrocarbon, liquid sequestrants, glycol and other fluids may arrive along with the gas.
Coalescer filters may have one or more separation chambers. In the case of double chamber filters, the gas is filtered in the first chamber using cartridge filters, and in the second, mist eliminators are used to remove the remaining liquid droplets. These systems can remove droplets up to 5 microns in diameter.
Flargent High Efficiency Solutions
Flargent particle filters and coalescers represent an advanced solution in the removal of particles and liquid droplets in gas streams. These specialized systems not only ensure gas purity, but also protect equipment and facilities, maintaining the integrity of operations.
