Electric Process Heaters
Flargent electric heaters use the circulation of electric current through resistances, thus transferring energy to the fluid to generate heat. Depending on the amount of heat required and the process conditions, the type and quantity of resistors required is selected.
Indirect Fired Heaters
Indirect fired heaters are used primarily in natural gas heating applications to prevent hydrate formation and prevent fluid freezing in gas pipelines. These heaters transfer heat to an intermediate heating medium, such as steam, water, aqueous solutions, or other fluids, which in turn transfer heat to the main process. Flargent offers these skid-mounted heaters with their combustion box and associated plumbing.
Depending on the customer's thermal needs and process conditions, the appropriate type of indirect heater is selected from the various possible transfer technologies, such as indirect fired heaters in a steam bath, water bath or hot oil bath.
